Training Philosophy

At RESA Power, we train your employees like they are our own. We’ve partnered with FES Training Solutions, a leading electrical training company, to offer workshops that promote more than the recognition of hazards and the enforcement of safety rules. Each one day course teaches not just OSHA regulations but the how and why behind safely working with electrical circuits and equipment. We believe that safety is good business and that everyone should go home safe.

Adult Education Methods

Our classes and workshops use adult education methods. We recognize students enter the classroom with a lifetime of experience. Our workshops structure the material so the students leverage that experience & background for better retention. We use a variety of teaching methods including lecture, class discussion, demonstrations, role playing scenarios, PowerPoint presentations, videos, and energized & deenergized hands-on work.

Our Instructors

You won’t find more qualified and dynamic instructors. Jim Fitch, our lead instructor, has years of real world, hands-on work experience combined with the ability to communicate effectively. He brings an amazing pedigree as a lineman, cable splicer, technician, foreman, electrical contractor, supervisor, manager and business owner with a business degree from the University of Riverside, A.
